Easy
Application of pre-glued wood veneer edgebanding. |
| |
| Prior to lamination, allow the edgebanding and
substrate to acclimate to the temperature and humidity of your work
space. Ideal temperature for application is 70 - 80°F and 35%
humidity. Be sure that the surface is clean, dry and smooth (free
of dust, grease, wax) to insure a good bond. |
| |
| Step 1. Clean surface and cut edgebanding
slightly longer that the panel edge. |
| |
Step
2. Iron setting should be on "cotton". Move iron slowly along
the edgebanding to allow heat to penetrate wood and activate the
adhesive. |
| |
Step
3. Once cool, trim excess edgebanding with knife, razorblade or
sandpaper until flush with edge. |
| |
| Step 4. Stain and/or finish edgebanding to
desired color or match panel. |
